Getting Started

The Explore Tab

The Explore tab is your main navigation hub. Here you'll find an interactive map of your chosen city, pinpointing various places of interest, events, and quests. You can easily switch between cities to plan your next adventure.

Use the map to find attractions, cafes, and hidden gems near you. You can also reset to your current location at any time.

Quests & Challenges

Engaging Quests

At the heart of Explorely are the Quests. These are location-based challenges designed to make your exploration more interactive and educational. Quests can take various forms, such as:

• Quizzes: Test your knowledge about local landmarks and culture. For example, a quest in Cologne's Historische Altstadt asks about the traditional beer served in the area.

• Photo Captures: Document your journey by taking photos of specific locations.

• Check-ins: Mark your presence at various points of interest.

Completing quests earns you XP (Experience Points), helping you level up and climb the leaderboard.

Events & Places

In addition to quests, the Explore tab allows you to filter for Places and Events. This feature helps you discover temporary exhibitions, street festivals, and other seasonal activities happening around you.

The Leaderboard

Compete with Others

The Leaderboard adds a competitive edge to your travels. Here you can see how you rank against other explorers based on the number of quests you've completed and the XP you've earned. It shows a vibrant community of travelers, with users like "ReisendeHummel," "Adrien," and "JJ" competing for the top spots.

Your Profile

The Profile tab is where you can track your progress, view your completed quests, and manage your account. It's your personal travel diary within the app.
